Why cacao nibs?

Cacao nibs have some great health benefits

  • They can help lower blood sugar
  • They contain anti-inflammatory properties
  • They may improve heart health
  • They have anti-cancer properties
  • And they can boost your immune system!

Why eat buckwheat?

  • It boosts your immune system
  • Helps with digestion
  • It’s a great source of protein
  • Can help prevent anemia
  • Can improve bone health

Let’s cook!

Add the milk, cream of buckwheat, cinnamon, cocoa powder, and 1 tablespoon of cocoa nibs to your pan and bring to a boil. Once it is boiling lower the temperature to low, cover, and let it simmer until it is cooked. Mine takes about 5-7 minutes but every brand will be slightly different

Once cooked place your cream of buckwheat in a bowl and top with sliced banana and the remaining cocoa nibs. If you like, add a bit more maple syrup to suit your sweet tooth.

Enjoy!
